Sony Honami Mini May Have Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor
Sony unveiled the Xperia Ultra less than a month ago and the phone is shown with 6.4” 1080p Triluminos display with X-Reality engine. The Japanese electronics giant may once again promise us an amazing device in the upcoming IFA 2013 event. Reportedly named as the Xperia Honami, Sony’s upcoming smartphone will feature a 20Mp camera sensor.
It appears the Honami will get a midget sidekick, which would compete with the Galaxy S4 Mini, HTC One Mini and perhaps, low-cost iPhone. There are little details on the Sony Honami Mini, but despite its smaller size, the phone could possibly perform better than contemporary high-end devices in the market, including original variants of HTC One Mini and Samsung Galaxy 4.
Instead of using less capable dual-core chip, the Honami Mini may use the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, which supports quad-core processor. The screen size could be smaller than 4.5” and it may not have the similar photography capability with the bigger Honami model.
