Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport is Available Exclusively for Sprint
Samsung has released a variant of its flagship, the Galaxy S5, which is exclusive for Sprint. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport comes with the same high-end hardware components, such as 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. There’s also a heart rate sensor to help sports enthusiasts to monitor their bodies. Sprint announced the Galaxy S5 Sport about a month ago and it has been available for sale on the 25th of July. The phone should be interesting for those who want to live a very active lifestyle.
Sprint’s Easy Pay program should make the phone reasonably affordable for subscribers. They could get the phone for nothing down, since the carrier allows subscribers to split all payments equally across 24 month, or about $27 each month.
Since the Galaxy S5 Sport is designed for active people, the phone is obviously no pushover. The phone boasts dust- and water-resistant chassis. Measuring 8.9mm thick and weighing 137 grams, the textured body makes the phone very comfortable to hold. It comes with a proprietary Activity Zone feature that makes it easy to access useful apps such as stopwatch, flashlight, compass and barometer.
